Free Prestashop Module: Ask a question - Updated!

After many requests, the same “Ask a question” module I use on the prestashop addons store is finally available. For FREE!

If your customer base is fairly large you might be responding to the very same questions about your products over and over again. This is where the free Prestashop module “Ask a question” comes in handy,

Using this free Prestashop addon your customers will be able to ask product-specific questions directly from each product page, without having to register! Furthermore, each answered question will be published on the product page, so that other people having the same query will receive immediate answer.

Hi,
When I have a question I only receive it by email. I have some modifications to do to the module as :

1) How add direct product link in the Q&A module (in BO)?
2) How approve separately each Q&A ?
3) How add a message on the top board in BO to know when there is a Q&A waiting response ?

  It’s weird, new questions should be displayed in the module’s back office, at the bottom, after answers’ stats.
  As for the other things, I’ll try to add point 2 when I have some time (but I fear it won’t happen soon, I’m literally submerged lately). As for 1, it should be possible to click on the product name unless I removed it by mistake. #3 is not feasible as it requires manual modifications of the back office template and notifications class

Uh you should try with Tools::substr (like the normal php substr). Get the first letter, then the last one, count inbetween and replace as many letters as it finds
As for the translation, it would be appreciated You can send them over at nemo@nemops.com!

Well it depends, are other emails being sent out? Also, make sure you have a folder named as your back office’s language iso in the mails folder of the module

Works on PS 1.5.6.2
I have deleted the … from the bo template because the functions are as default on the top of the product page.

Just a problem for sending the answer at the question. I always obtain an error to send the answer by e-mail.

What is the modification to do ?

Hello, that plugin is ultra awesome but how to delete answer after publishing?
and when I try to add answer I’ve got info about email error in back office so I don’t recive any email and customer also dont have it.

Emails from prestashop are sending very well so I think is problem with this module. I’m using 1.5.6.1
